How sturdy is the mini with casters?

The mini-stackables are designed to hold 2 Christy's or 200 lbs.

This product comes with a 1-year warranty.

Can the single mini roll under the Crafters Desk for storage?

Yes, the Crafters Desk has been designed to fit 1 Single Mini in the space where your legs go and 2 Single Minis at the back facing out. (Great if you are using your Desk as an island unit.)

Do the drawers have a stop to prevent them from pulling out and spilling your beads and embellishments?

The drawers and rails have a small nob to prevent the drawers from sliding out. If you toggle the drawer left then right it will come completely out. The left and right rails have a two small nobs one on top of the other that can be cut down to eliminate this resistance.

Do the drawers hold 12x12 paper and how many?

The 2” drawer will hold approximately 150 sheets of 12x12 cardstock. Both drawers will fit any 12x12 paper with or without the bar code strip.

Can stamps fit into the 1” drawer?

The 1” drawer fits any standard rubber mounted stamp and the 2” drawer will allow them to be double stacked. To determine how many of your stamps will fit into either the 1” or 2” drawer, simply use a 12x12 paper and lay your stamps out on top. This will give you an idea of how many drawers to purchase.

How much weight will the drawers hold?

Both drawers can hold the weight of a full drawer of metal punches. We have not had an instance where a customer has over weighted any of our drawers.

How can I best choose my drawers and paper trays for my cabinet?

The Mini Stackables craft organizer system is designed to be modular in form so that you can select the combination to best suit your organizational needs. The paper trays are best if you want to see your paper and can hold 50 sheets of cardstock (these do not slide out like the drawers). The 1” drawers can hold rubber stamps, small punches, tools, etc. Use the 2” drawers for larger punches, tools, etc. By adding our 1” or 2” inserts you can store beads, findings, brads, ribbon, eyelets, rolls of thread, etc.

How difficult are the cabinets to put together?

They are easily put together by using one Phillips head screwdriver. We use a bolt and cam lock system, which is the most secure way to assemble the units. Please follow the instructions that come with the unit.

Can the drawers be stacked outside the cabinet?

Yes, we have designed them to interlock together when stacking the drawers. This will prevent any slipping when you have them out at your work space.

How large are the spaces in the inserts?

The 1” insert has 30 spaces and each is 1.75”wide x2”long x 2”deep.

The 2” insert has 15 spaces and each is 2.25”wide x3.5”long x2”deep.

Does the bottom drawer need rails?

The bottom drawer does not need rails. The drawer sits and slides on the wooden bottom of the cabinet. If you are wanting a stopper on the bottom drawer you may cut off the bottom section of the rail (the part where the drawer would normally slide on), the plugs that would push into the pre-drilled holes, and glue these cut down pieces to the inside of your cabinet.

What are the cabinets made of?

Cabinets are made from durable 3/4 inch stain resistant Melamine, assembled with bolt and cam locks. Casters can hold up to 300 lbs. Drawers are made of high impact plastic and come with a one year replacement warranty.

Make your Paper Shelves slide!

Do you like the way the paper shelves store your 12x12 scrapbook paper but you don't like that they are stationary? Now you can make them to slide in and out of your unit.

Simply purchase a pair of drawer rails for $1.75/pair and convert your paper shelves to be able to slide.

Install the drawer rails upside down and then slide your paper shelf on top of the rail. When inserting the drawer rails the right hand rail will now look like a "7" when inserted. The paper shelves will not have a stop on them and will be able to pull completely out. Also, the paper shelves must be double spaced in your unit not single spaced, therefore, insert your upside down drawer rails into every other hole in your cabinet. Make sure not to load the paper shelf past the front lip. This may cause the paper shelf to bow in the center.
